Summer time Education Week
Education Week was established more than 75 years ago to name attention to the significance of education and to show the public among the good issues taking place in Alberta schools. Thus, Chairwoman Debra Richardson sought to make CSEdWeek 2010 focused at broader audience: K-12 college students; Okay-12 laptop science academics and non-CS Okay-12 academics; dad and mom of Okay-12 college students; group organizations affiliated with Ok-12 aged students; administrators and counselors within the Okay-12 community; students, faculty and employees in higher education; and CS & IT industrial organizations and their corporate professionals.
Initially EPE’s website primarily housed online versions of Education Week and Teacher Journal print editions; it now gives each day breaking information and an array of different information sources, together with such fashionable news blogs as Politics Ok-12, State EdWatch, Curriculum Matters, and an array of opinion blogs.
The editors of Editorial Projects in Education (EPE), the nonprofit that publishes Education Week, say that their mission is to help raise the extent of consciousness and understanding amongst professionals and the public of important issues in American education.
In 2002, the Philadelphia Faculty Reform Fee contracted with the for-profit education management group Edison Schools to handle 20 of the district’s under-performing schools, and with Victory Schools and Chancellor Beacon Academies to manage five each.
We encourage the participation of all individuals and establishments all in favour of worldwide education and alternate activities, together with schools, faculties and universities, embassies, worldwide organizations, businesses, associations, and group organizations.
